* MISHAP ON FERRY

While the Devonport vehicular ferry Goshawk was rolling in the middle of the harbour in a north-east wind and rain storm during the forenoon, a motor truck loaded with coke and coal plunged through the bulwarks into the harbour and sank. It is owned hy Mr W. Lovett, of Ponsonby. The driver, Mr R. Owsley, was fortunately standing on the deck when the accident occurred. The Goshawk was brought back to the city anti 20ft. of the bulwark bad to be replaced. _
