Mrs E. G. Whitley, of Devonport, is spending the holidays at Palmerston North.
Mr and Mrs W. L. Irwin, of Kaiti, Gisborne, are visiting Dannevirke as the guests of the latter’s father, Mr D. G. Speedy. Miss Nora Arnold, of Gisborne, is the guest of her sister, Mrs W. J. Leslie, Palmerston North. Miss M. Beckman, of Makino Road, Feikling, has returned home after a short holiday in. Wellington. Mr and Mrs Fred Pycroft, of Palmerston North, are celebrating their golden wedding at the home of their son in Napier. The friends of Mrs A. Evans, of Rongotea, who is at present in Wellington, will regret to learn that her health is causing her relatives anxiety. Miss Zena King, 19 Church Street, is spending her holidays in Waimate. Sh£ is the guest of Mrs Milne, Stonewall, Grassy Hill Road, Waimate. Miss Ram, of Colombo Street, and Miss N. Ritchie, of Ferguson Street, are siiending the vacation with Miss V. Paterson, Claudelands, Hamilton.
Mr and Mrs S. Packer and Miss Jean Packer, who have been visiting Feilding for the holidays, have returned to their home in New Plymouth. Among recent visitors to National Park were Mr and Mrs M. A. Eliott, of Palmerston North
Miss K. Owtram, of Palmerston North, is accompanying Rev. P. Wiltshire and Mrs Wiltshire, of Pongaroa, on a motor tour of the North Island.
Miss K. Nicholson is a Napier visitor to Palmerston North. She is to proceed to Wellington later. Mrs N. Branson has returned to ToJaga Bay after visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs It. C. Tennent, of Woodville. A niece of Mrs Branson, Miss Phyllis Mules, accompanied her on her return.
