SURGICAL ADVANCE.

NEW YORK, Dec. 17. The journal of the American Medical Association announces that a new surgical operation restored the potentialities of fatherhood of 31 of 51 subjects. Eighteen other operations recently apparently are successful. The operation differs from the Steinacli operation because it restores virility without destroying the possibility of fatherhood. It does not include grafting glands, but involves the shortening of certain muscles.
