YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS AND PRICES.

No marked changes wore seen yesterday on the 'Wellington Stock Exchange. Business was fairly brisk, a substantial turnover including three large parcels of Government 4 per cent, stock 15-6-53-55, at the unchanged price of £lOl ss, the total consideration being £22,000. Apart from these dealings tho market for Government loans was dull and easy. Amalgamated Brick 7J per Cent, debentures were in demand, £IOO being offered for the Wellington isue and £lOl 10s for Auckland. There was a slightly hotter inquiry for hanks. New Zcalands were firmer on business at 40s 3d, buyers staying in at a penny higher. Union of 'Australia wero a shade easier at £lO ss. YESTERDAY’S QUOTATIONS.
