AIR DEFENCE.
REPORT FOR CABINET. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 9. The preliminary report on the requirements from the New Zealand point of view of air defence has been submitted to the Government by Wing-Commander Cochrane, who was sent- to New Zealand to advise on defence problems. Mr Savage said to-day that the report had been referred to a special Cabinet committee, which would confer with Commander Cochrane and discuss the details. Questions of policy arising from tlie report will also receive the consideration of the committee.
