WEDDING.
WOOLF—NORRIS. St. Matthew’s Church, Masterton, was the scone of a quiet wedding recently, when Mavis, only daughter of Mr and Mrs G. J. Norris, of Masterton, was married to John, younger son of the la.te Mr W. “Woolf, of Palmerston North, and Mrs J. Bowden, of Martinborongh. The ceremony was performed by Rev. E. J. Rich, vicar of St. Matthew’s. The bride, who was escorted by her father, was simply attired in a navy ensemble with hat and shoes to tone, and she carried a sheaf of white and red gladioli, with sweet yreas, ora.nge blossom and maidenhair fern. She was attended by Miss Halmiah Winter, who was dressed in a blue floral frock with navy hat, shoes and gloves, her bouquet being of pink roses and love-in-the-mist. The duties of best man were carried out by Mr Ralph Chaplin, Wellington, and Mr John Hole, also of Wellington.
