SCHOLARSHIP BEQUEST.
Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 4. Under the will of Miss Edith Winifred Douglas Brown, of Bemuera, who died on November 14 and whose estate was sworn for probate at under £15.000, provision is made for the establishment of a Frederick Douglas Brown postgraduate science research scholarship in memory of her father, who was the I first professor of chemistry and physics ' at Auckland University College. The , sum of £SOOO is to bo invested for the purpose, subject to the life interest of a sister of deceased.
