WAIATA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) WAIATA, Dec. 4. November was an exceptionally wet month ill Waiata, the records showing that 6,07 in of rain fell, this being slightly higher than the fall recorded in the city. With the exception of November, 1927, when 6.97 in fell, the past month was the wettest November during the past quarter century! The average November fall since 1913 is 3.35 in, the driest month being in 1934, when 2.09 in were recorded. In all 43.93 in of rain have fallen in the 11 months of this year, as compared with 49.29 in for the 12 months of 1935.
