FLAT RIDING SEASON ENDS.

Received November 30, 9.55 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 28. The flat riding season has ended. Gordon Richards was enabled to have his 1000th mount of the season, Harry Wragg sportingly surrendering his ride on Royal Crusade in the concluding race at Manchester, but he was unplaced. Richards is the champion with 177 wins. He now has ridden 2011 winners. Nevett is second with 108.

Lord Astor is the biggest winning owner, his prize money amounting to £38,131. Lord Derby is second with £29,839, including the King’s horses. The Aga Khan is third with £29,055. The leading trainer, J. Lawson, won £61,867..
