FLIGHT TO AFRICA.
CAPTAIN TAYLOR’S PLAN. Received November 30, 12.15 p.m. SYDNEY, Nov. 30. Captain P. G. Taylor has announced that he has planned an ocean flight from Australia to South Africa. The finance had to be arranged, but fie thought that, as the flight would be of great national importance, it might bo made a national undertaking. Captain Taylor’s plans provide for a take-off from Carnarvon (Western Australia), thenc.e to Cocos Island, Garcia Island, and Seychelles Island, to Mombasa. MOLLISON’S FLIGHT. Received November 30, 12.20 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 29. J. A. MolJison, after giving attention to an overfilled petrol tank at Marseilles, left for Cairo at 2.42 p.m., en route to the Cape. He flew over Tunis at 6.27 p.m.
