WOOL IN DEMAND.
THE LONDON SALES. Received November 28, 12.10 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 27. At the wool sales 8232 bales were offered, including 4682 from New Zealand and 7880 were sold. There was a keen general demand for a moderate selection, rates favouring sellers. New Zealand greasy halfbred, branded HB, reached 20id, and averaged 20id; branded Woodbank, reached 18id and averaged 15id.
