FEILDING STOCK SALE.
SMALL DAIRY ENTRY. The Feilding stock sale was held today in fine weather, and there was a good attendance of buyers and farmers. A small entry of hoggets and a few pens of ewes and lambs comprised the store sheep section, while a race and a half of ewes and a good yarding of young sheep made up the fat sheep entries. Owing to the season having advanced and farmers having purchased tbeir dairy requirements, the entry of this class of stock was small. There were, however, a few pens of good yearling Jersey heifers offered. There was also a good entry of station cattle in the store pens, "including several choice lines of 2 and 3-yr. P.A. steers. In all, over 1000 station and store cattle were offered. Potter cows were supplied in large numbers, and there was a good entry of beef station cattle and Jersey heifers.
