MRS FREER’S CASE
MINISTER IMPLACABLE. (United Press Association —By Electrit Telegraph.—Copyright.) CANBERRA, Nov. 25. Air T. Paterson / Alin is tel of the Interior) replied in the House of Representatives to several questions about Mrs Freer, to-day. He said: “I am still in communication with the Indian Government, and if further information comes to hand l will take whatever action I deem advisable.” Air Paterson admitted that a letter had been received from a New Zealand solicitor, Air G. P. Finlay, asking that Airs Freer be given an opportunity to state her case in Australia to an independent tribunal. Air Paterson added that the exclusion of Airs Freer had already been considered by Cabinet a.ad any attempt by her to return would not be regarded as a new ease for reconsideration bv Cabinet. He did not think the public interest warranted an inquiry such as was requested by Airs Fraer's solicitor.
