DIONNE QUINTUPLETS.

BREACH OF CONTRACT SUIT. The doctor who attended the birth of the Dionne quintuplets, Dr. Dafoe, arrived in New York recently after a flight from Chicago, where he was involved in an unusual situation when a subpoena in connection with a 1,000.000 dollar breach of contract suit was handed to him as he was boarding the aeroplane. Dr. Dafoe denied that the papers were served on him personally, but said that they were handed to a photographer, who relayed them to a journalist through a window of the machine. The suit was brought by a promoter, Mr Ivan Spear, who alleges that Dr. Dafoe, Mr and Mrs Dionne, and 14 others signed over to him the exclusive publicity rights regarding the quintuplets.
