The attitude of ministers who . refuse to preside at wedding breakfasts where wine is served on the grounds, that they are expected to invite-the cruests. to drink other people s health in intoxicating liquor was coipmended at the Auckland Methodist Synod. Jt also passed a resolution requesting the University Senate to further explore the possibility of a legislative amendment enabling it to confer diVjnity degrees.
