BONUS GRANTED

BY STATE FIRE OFFICE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 19. The announcement that the board of the State Fire Insurance Office has directed an allocation out-of its profits of a bonus to policy-holders was made to-day by Hon. F. Jones.

The bonus, which will operate,-for one year will be calculated in. relation to the periods for which the insurances have been in force up to a maximum of three years and the sums due wm be credited to premiums on the renewal of existing policies expiring on or after December 1, 1936. The bonus will be additional to the current State Fire rebates winch become permanent rate reductions, ana will represent varying percentages on last year’s premium of from 10 per cent, to 25 per cent.
