PLIGHT NOT FORGOTTEN
(United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph.— Received November 20, 12.55 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 19. The King, on leaving llhymey station for London, at the conclusion of his tour of South Wales, said: “I have learned many things in these two days and I hope I may be able to do something to better the lot of these unfortunates.” . , . _ . On His Majesty’s arrival m London a special telegram was sent to the Welsh officials, Btating: “I feel admiration for the spirit with which the people are facing the ordeal of prolonged unemployment and I was encouraged at seeing the fine governmental and voluntary efforts to help them until the revival of industrial activity restores prosperity. In the meantime I urge them hot to lose heart and rest assured that their trouble is not forgotten.”
