GAS MASKS AT HOME. (British Official AATrelcss.) RUGBY, Nov. 18. During a further debate on defence in the House of Lords, Lord Stanhope, for the Government, said that the Minister for . the Co-ordination of Defence (Sir Thomas Inskip) was devoting attention to certain aspects of the air arm. but no statement could he made until a decision on the proposals .was taken by the Government.. He also stated that the Government was preparing the manufacture of gas masks at a rapid rate. Distribution to local authorities would be made if occasion arose.
