LOYAL MANAWATU LODGE. At the anniversary meeting of the Loyal Manawatu Lodge, M.U., L.0.0.E., Bro. A, Datvick, P.G., presided, and one new member was initiated into the order. Invitations from Loyal Mauganui Lodge and the M’angauui District Lodge to a special meeting to meet the Grand Master and other officers were received. First nominations for officers for the next term were received. The sick visitors’ report showed no change of any serious degree to. the previous report. Alter the lodge had closed a dance was hold, and among the number present were rn>,esentat.ves of other friendly societies in the city, Loyal Manchester Lodge, and from lodges in the Wellington and Auckland districts. I’.D. G.AI. Bro. D. T. Dilks gave a short address on the Manawatu Lodge and its long service in the city. Its moral, intellectual, social and health benefits were briefly touched on.
