WHEAT YIELD.
AUSTRALIAN ESTIMATE. SYDNEY, Oct. 27. The Commonwealth Statistician estimates Australia’s wheat yield for 1936-37 at 129,556,000 bushels, which is 9 pci- cent, lower than last year’s yield, although the acreage has increased by 6 per cent.
