LORD NUFFIELD’S GIFT.
' £1,250,000 FOR OXFORD. Received October 16 9.45 a.m. LONDON, Oct. 15. Lord Nuffield has given to the Oxford University a sum siggrega.ting £l,250,000 for the development of the post-graduate medical school. He says lie recognises the desirability of research men working unhampered by the cares of private practice.
