HOCKEY ASSOCIATION.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —It has been brought to my notice that there is an impression in the minds of the community that the Manawatu Hockey Association wanted a fee of £3 3s from 2ZO for the broadcast of the community sing last night. This is not correct. In conjunction with the officials of 2ZO the Hockey Association endeavoured to arrange the broadcast, and in this connection incurred extra expense trying to arrange it. To the many disappointed listeners, the Hockey Association expresses its regret that negotiations fell through, and can assure listeners that it did all it could for their benefit.—Yours faithfully. ' W. H. WILSON,
President, Manawatu Hockey Assn
