WAIATA.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) WAIATA, Oct. 5. A total of 3.51 inches of rain was recorded in Waiaia during last month. This was considerably higher than the average September fall since 1913, which is 2.66. The wettest September of the period was in 1925, when 5.45 inches fell, and the driest was in 1932, when .98 inches were recorded. A total of 34.86 inches of rain has fallen during the nine months of 1036, compared with 36.96 inches in the corresponding period of last year.
