(From Our Own Correspondent.) TIAKITAII UNA, Oct. 3,

Euchre parties which have been conducted by the Hall Comniitloo during the winter season were brought to a close this week. Winners for the evening were: Mrs W. Rowland and Mr A. Buchanan 1, and Miss M. Rowland and Mr L>. Rowland 2. Points prizes for the season were presented to Mrs Lover and Mr D. Rowland. Mr E. 11. Lange, agricultural instructor, visited the school recently, when a book was presented to Noel Robinson for producing the heaviest mangold crop in the local school children’s section of the Agricultural Club.
