She said: “I want to start in the morning, but the weather forecast shows that the barometer is falling heavily in Southern Europe. I shall havo another report at 3 a.m. “I intend to make the first stop at Marseilles, where I shall take on a full load of petrol (155 gallons). I hope to halvo my Australian record. 1 shall wear my lucky New Zealand flag as a muffler, as I have done on all flights,” Miss Batten added.
