GIRL’S GALLANTRY,

Miss Annie Lundgren, a young factory worker, of 29, Admiralty Street, Leith, was walking to her work in August when her attention was drawn to a man struggling in Leith Harbour. She ran to a flight of steps leading to the water, threw off her coat, and plunged to the rescue. She succeeded in keeping the mail afloat until a lifebuoy was thrown to her.
