FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.

ACORN LODGE OF DRUIDS. The fortnightly meeting of the Acorn Lodge was well attended, the A.D., Bro. Capped, presiding. An invitation was received from the Makino Lodge' to attend a bowls tournament. Bro. Wyatt, of Auckland, conveyed fraternal greetings to the lodge. It was decided that the name and address of the lodge be printed on the board placed in the bus shelters. Bro. Beattie reported attending the Waipawa Lodge’s annual dance and conveyed fraternal greetings from Bro. Cutler. Treasurer Bro. Matthews was granted leave of absence for one month. Supper was served i»y the stewards.
