SAVOLDI BEATS KRUSE. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, Oct. 4. In a professional wrestling contest at the Town Hall last night, “Jumping Joe” Savoldi, 15st. 41b, beat Bob Kruse, I4st., by two falls to one. The Italian gained his falls in the third round with a bodypress following dropkicks, and in the sixth when he rolled over on to Kruse after the American had dumped him, Kruse gained a submission fall in the fifth round with a wristlock.

McCREADY BEATS PENCHEFF.

Per Press Association. GREYMOUTH, Oct. 4. In an interesting and strenuous wrestling contest, McCready beat Pencheff by one fall, obtained in the seventh round, with a bodypress following a dump.

BLOMFIELD AND DAYIS DRAW. Ter Press Association. DANNEVIRKE, Oct, 6. After heavy jolting, both “Lotty” Blomfield and “Wee Willie” Davis connected with hits to the jaw soon after the sixth round commenced in the wrestling match on Saturday evening. Each was knocked out and both lay on the mat dazed and took the count, a vigorous contest ending in a draw. Each had secured a fall, Davis in the second round with jolts and a body press, and Blomfield in the fifth after dazing Davis with Three vigorous flying tackles.
