NAPIER BEAT MANAAVATU.

Owing to the boisterous weather, tho October medal handicap to have been played by the Manawatu Golf Club at Hokowhitu at the week-end was postponed for a week, but the inter-club match with Napier was played, and a. close contest resulted in a win for the visitors by 16 games to 15. Manawatu Avon the four-ball by 6 games to Bj but a margin of two Avins in the singles gave Napier the victory in the aggregate.
