(From Oar Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Oct. 5. Closing day foursomes for a trophy given by the Rangitikei Ladies’ Golf Club attracted 30 members, last week, and _ the winners were Mrs W. Wilson and Miss C. Wilson. At the conclusion Mrs McKenzie (club captain) presented trophies _ won during the season, as follow'.—Senior championship (Harris Cup), Miss C. Wilson; runner-up (Mrs Watson’s trophy), Mrs Dixon; junior championship (Hart Cup), Misfi Perrett; runner-up (Miss Amon’e trophy), Mrs Lawrence; Haworth Cup (3 best gross scores). Mrs Dixon; handicap competition (Mrs D. Wilson’s trophy), Mrs Dixon; runner-up (Mrs Tricker’s trophy). Miss 0. Levett; best bogey scores (Misses 0. and P. Levett’s trophy), Miss Galballv; L.G.U. silver medal, Mrs Dixon; L.G.U. bronze medal, Mrs Russell; Stableford bogey (Miss C. Wilson’s trophy). Mrs Dalmnple; stroke competition (Mrs W. Wilson’s trophy), Mm Russell; flag competition (Mrs Lawrence's trophy), Miss Stevens; sealed partners (Mrs Dalrymplc’s trophy), Mrs Lawrence and Mrs Dixon; silver spoons (won on medal days), Mrs Russell (2), Mm Hendiv. Mrs Dalrvmple, Mrs Dixon. Mrs \V. Wilson. Miss Stevens. Miss McKenzie, and Miss N. Wilson; best, score in last medal .round, for the player who has not won a tropbv this season (Mrs McKenzie's nrize). Mrs Dean. Mrs McKenzie congratulated the winners, and Miss 0. Levett supplemented her remarks, paving tributes to the generosity of Mr and Mrs John Tricker for the use of their property; to the donors of trophies; and to the green-keeper, who had performed excellent work despite tery bad weather. Mr X. H. Amos, registrar, supplies tho following list of vital statistics for tho September quarter, with those of the corresponding Period of 1935 shown in parentheses Births. 4 (4); deaths, 0 (0); marriages, 3 (1).
