WOMEN’S GOLF.
YVIN FOR MISS BARTON. NEW YORK, Oct. 3. Miss Pamela Barton to-day won the women’s golf championship of America by beating Mrs Crews, formerly Miss Maureen Orcutt, 4 and 3 over 36 holes.
Miss Barton is the first English winner since 1913. 11l the semi-finals Miss Barton heat Miss Marion Miley (Kentucky) 3 and 1 and Airs Crews beat Miss Kathryn Hemphill (South Carolina) 4 and 2.
