HUNDREDS UNDER ARREST. Received October 5, 12.5 p.m. PARIS, Oct. 4. Armed police and mounted llepul>lican Guards, numbering 20,000, established an impregnable barrier around the Park Des Princes. They repelled over 15,000 members of the Social Party, who were advancing to invade the park and the surrounding streets in order to prevent a Communist meeting. Many clashes resulted in 1300 arrests being made.
