FROZEN MEAT.
The Bank of Australasia lias received the following cable, dated London, October 1, from its London office:—Frozen lambs: Although there is less demand owing to the high prices, the market is firm and likely to remain so in view of reduced stocks. Frozen mutton: The market has advanced during the last month and prices are likely to be maintained; limited supplies met with a moderate demand, with the exception of lightweight wethers, which are not easy to sell. Frozen beef: Thero are limited supplies and fair inquiries; prices have advanced slightly; market steady.
