The committee desire to tender their thanks to the donors of cash prizes, concluded the report. Mr G. G. Mr Brown said that from past experience he had found there were no entries for such a section. It was unanimously to keep Friday as the date of the Show. Wilton, A, R. Wylie, G. G. Ilill and J. T. Tbe organiser for the New Zealand National Party (Mr T. G. Wilkes) explained to a representative meeting of electors in Palliates, on Tuesday, the aims, objects arid constitution oi the party. The speaker said the party was open to all those who were opposed to Socialism, and that all who joined would have a voice in the administration of it- It was resolved to form a brunch of the party in Paluatua, and a committee was set up to enroll additional mcmbeis and call a further meeting to elect delegates to the central committee of the Pahiatua cieciorate, who in turn will elect a delegate to the Wellington Divisional conference of the party, which will lie held in Wellington.
