AVINGATUI LEAA 7 ES NAPIER. Per Press Association. HASTINGS, Sept. 39. The Union Steam Ship Co.’s freighter AVingatui, after having had extinguished her smouldering, cargo of lime, sailed from Napier this evening nt 6 o’clock for Auckland. After the outbreak had been extinguished with the aid of chemical extinguishers, a quantity of charred cargo and still fuming lime was unloaded and the vessel was able to resume her interrupted voyage.
