Mr J- A. Pollard, British Israel lecturer, of Auckland, is at present visiting Palmerston North. Mr A. C. A. Sexton, M.P. for Franklin, is making satisfactory progress after his recent serious fall, and hopes to' be able to resume his Parliamentary duties before the end of tiie session. The friends of Mr J. Cameron, of F eatherston . Street, will regret to learn that he is still a patient in hospital, his recovery from his illness being slow. Mr Cameron lias now been confined to his bed for eleven weeks. Rev. John Holland, who undertakes, as from to-morrow, the duties of curate at All Saints’ Parish, in place of Rev. F. 0. Ball, who is now vicar at Martinborougli, arrived in the city last night. Mr Holland, who came from Blackburn, England, was ordained at St. Paul’s Pro-Cathedral, Wellington, yesterday morning, by tlie Bishop of Wellington, the Right Rev. Bishop St. Barbo Holland. The preacher was Archdeacon Petrie and a number of Wellingtond and suburban clergy were present.
