JERSEY SALE.
At - the Showgrounds, Datmovirke, on Tuesday, October 6, the. 14th animal sale of pedigree .Jersey hulls Will take place under the auspices of the DlUiliuvil'lto District Jersey Cattle Club. An excellent entry lias been received —43 head are to he offered. The hulls have been subjected to an inspection prior to the printing of tlm catalogue, so that ''intending buyers. rail look forward to seeing an entry of animals well up to standard. Those eligible as sires of marked calves under the Group Herd Testing Federation scheme have been specially marked in the catalogue, and hero is an opportunity to commence with bulls of (he light standard. The catalogues contain two generation pedigrees, but very lull pedigrees will be available at the sale. Selling will commence at. 11 a.m., being preceded by the judging of the bulk at 10.30 a.m. and the classification. Catalogues are available from the auctioneers, Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., Abraham and Williams, Ltd., and Hawke’s Bay Farmers’ , or from Messrs Quigley and Allen.
