PRISON ESCAPEE
STILL NO TRACE. l’er Press Association. AUCKLAND, Sept. 29. There is no trace of John William Graves, the prisoner who escaped from the Waikune prison camp on Sunday afternoon, nor is there any indication of his whereabouts, in spite of aii organised search by' parties of warders and police. The country between National Park and Ohakune and across to Tokaaiiu is being combed by searchers and all -the roads in this area are under close surveillance.
