PROSPERITY QUEEN CARNIVAL.

Everybody is looking forward to to morrow night, when tho Manawatu Hockey Association, Palmerston North Garrison Band and tho jVJtanuwatu Rugby Union present for dance lovers a “Prosperity Carnival Ball.” The combined committees are out to make this effort the outstanding dancing event of the year. A very strong Indies’ committee have the supper arrangements well in hand and intend to provide a real carnival supper. Miss Roua Boland (Rugby Queen), Miss L. Allsop (Band Queen), and Mrs S. New (Hockey Queen) will attend the ball. The dancing season is now drawing to a close and tho carnival ball should be a fitting climax to the dancing season.
