BANKERS AT GOLF
TOURNAMENT AT BULLS. (From Our Own Correspondent.) BULLS, Sept. 29. Tho annual tournament lor members of tho Bank of New Zealand staffs in Wanganui, Kangitikci, Oroua and Manawatu was played at Butls on Monday (Dominion Day) in windy weather, but the standard of play was high, and the tourney a great success. Twenty-eight took part, including bank officials from Wanganui, Mangaweka, Fending, Palmerston North, Bulls, Kimbolton and Pahiatua. In tho morning a bogey match was won by W. C. Grurnniitt (Wanganui), 1 up; J. P. Mornabrook (Palmerston North) finishing all square; and L. Brinkman (Wanganui) and N. H. Hume (Palmerston North) each being 2 down. After lunch, tho Bankers’ Handicap was played, the same players taking part, l’he winner was P. J. H. I-lowdcn (Wanganui), with a not 64; and there was a tie for second place between R. A.
