AIR LINER BURNT.
MISHAP AT KARACHI. KARACHI, Sept. 29. The east-bound air liner Athena was destroyed by fire when taking off for Delhi. The' passengers and crew are safe, and the bulk of her air mails are undamaged. The ’plane carried those loaded for Australia from London on September 23. ITALIAN TRAGEDIES. FOURTEEN DEATHS. ROME, Sept. 29. _ Nine men were killed and one seriouslv injured when a seaplane carrying experts from Libya struck the mast of a steamer and crashed in Benghasi harbour. Five were killed when a Savoia bomber on a training flight crashed at Civita Castellana.
