MAINE ELECTIONS.
REPUBLICANS HOLD GROUND. NEW YORK, Sept. 15. The final results in the Maine elections show that the Republicans captured three seats, also the Governorship and the Federal Senatorship. The fact that Maine is normally Republican makes the election not an accurate barometer for the national elections in November.
