OPIKI.

(From Our Own Correspondent.) OPIKI, Sept. 15. A meeting of tho executive of the Opiki branch of tho Farmers’ Union was held in tho hall last evening, Mr B. IS'onimn being in the chair. Tho business included the discussing of current topics within tho union’s organisation. The forthcoming Women’s Inectitute meeting, at which final details for the bulb show will be announced, should give an indication of the entries coining forward this year. The bulbs arc unusually early l this season and despite the cold and wet conditions some most pleasing blooms have been seen.
