PROSPERITY QUEEN CARNIVAL.
At the Regent Theatre, on Sunday night next,, a grand combined concert will lie presented. A number of visiting artists are included on the programme and patrons are assured that the items will he new and novel. The services of local talent have also been secured and the committee intends to make this concert an outstanding event. The Carnival Committee will also be presenting a grand entertainment at the Opera House on Tuesday. September 22. A feature of the programme will be the “Mystery Act” or “Tho Box of Death.” This act, will be presented for the first time in Palmerston North. Other entertaining items will be included in a programme of music, mirth and melody. The Australian Rugby team will he the guests of tho Carnival Committee and will he presented to the audience during the performance. Other carnival dates havo been fixed and are to be found in the front page of this issue.
