ST. JOHN AMBULANCE.
STREET DAY. The Palmerston North branch of the St. John Ambulance Brigade is to hold a street dav on Saturday, when an appeal will be made to the public for funds to assist in the carrying cm of the work ot the brigade locally. The occasion should provide the sporting public of the city with an opportunity to mark their appreciation of the, work ot members of the brigade on tlio various fields of sport throughout the year. A procession around the Square has been planned an part of the arrangements and a stall will be situated outside the Post Office and collectors will also make a canvass of business premises seeking to dispose of appropriate badges to townspeople.
