SUSPENSION LIFTED. Received July 23, 12 noon. LONDON, July 22. Following a settlement of the New Zealander, Maurice Strickland’s, claim, the Boxing Board of Control nas removed the suspension on Mr J elf Dickson. The Boxing Board of Control on July 13 suspended Air Jeff Dickson indefinitely without explanation. Mr Dickson lias for many years been one of the biggest boxing promoters in Britain. According to the Daily Mail the suspension followed fetl’ickla. d s complaint alleging non-payment of £25 due to him as forfeit for a match arranged but not staged between lmnsclf and the Finnish heavyweight, Gunner Barluncl.
