Received July 20, 8.5 a.m. MOSCOW, July 19. The airman, Vladimir Kokkinaki, claims a world’s altitude record, having reached 36,G27ft.
The Soviet claim cannot compare with the record established in April, 1934, by Commendatore Rinato Douati (Italy),' who reached 47,349 ft.
