HIGH OFFICIALS. (British Official Wireless.) Received July 20, 8.5 a.m. - RUGBY, July 17. The King received in audience En-gineer-Vice Admiral Sir Harold Brown on his appointment as an additional member of the Army Council to be responsible for co-ordinating and expediting the production of munitions for the Army, and those munitions which the War Office supplies to other services. His Majesty also received BrigadierGeneral Sir Alexander Rose, President of the Canadian Legion and the leader of the 6000 pilgrims, the majority of whom sailed yesterday from Montreal, to attend the unveiling by the King of the Vimy monument on Hill 145 to the 60,000 Canadians who died in the Great War.
