NEW ZEALAND COAST.

TEN YEARS’ SURVEY WORK. (Bv Telegranh—Special to Standard.) WELLINGTON, July 20. Reference was recently made m these columns to serious errors in charts of the New Zealand coast, and a coming hydrographic survey which will correct the information available to mariners. The Admiralty has informed the Government that their survey ship, the Endeavour, is to be made available for the work, and it will probably reach New Zealand in April next year. The survey involves a considerable amount of detailed work, and it is estimated that it cannot be completed within ten years.
