BAIL ESTREATED.

Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, July 18. The sum of £25 which Charles Watts had advanced in order to bail out a mail arrested on July 4 on a charge of being a rogue and a vagabond was estreated by Air W. R. AlcKean, S.M., in the Police Court this morning because of the non-appearance of the arrested man, AVilliam Henry Kevin Toner. Watts stated that he had heard - that Toner had left for Sydney by the Niagara. “That was one of the things you agreed to prevent,” remarked the Alagistrate, making the order estreating bail.
